Meet Haris from Bali
Haris lives in Bali with his wife and five children. They once ran a tattoo business until a devastating fire destroyed their home and livelihood. In the aftermath, Haris sold the remaining items from his house to a junkyard, where he discovered the value of recyclable materials, including plastic.
Ever since, he has collected plastics along riverbanks and through local neighbourhoods to support his family and protect the environment he loves. He hopes more people will recognize the urgent need to safeguard nature and our oceans from plastic pollution.
