Melissa Kiewe, Vice President of Marketing, Americas, CooperVision

“We’re excited to kick off our partnership with Plastic Bank by making clariti® 1 day-CooperVision’s most prescribed 1-day brand-the first net plastic neutral contact lens in the U.S.’ The initiative is an easy way for eye care professionals and wearers alike to make a positive impact from day one—not only on the planet, but on the lives of people in the countries in which Plastic Bank operates. We’re proud to be a leader in sustainability and look forward to our customers and wearers joining us on this journey.”

Melissa Kiewe

Vice President of Marketing, Americas, CooperVision

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Plastic Bank and to make a measurable difference in the lives of families as well as the oceans and our environment. It’s so exciting to join them as the first infant feeding brand partner, and what better way to begin working together than with our mostpopular product, the Anti-Colic Options+ baby bottle, and brand-new product line, Dr. Brown’s CleanUp (TM) baby bath essentials.”

Christy Pogorelac

Vice President & Chief Product Officer, Handi-Craft Company

“We already know we need to reduce single-plastic use and take part in beach clean-ups. But to truly have an impact, we also need to create a long-term recycling infrastructure that collects plastic before it enters our ocean in the first place. We created Ocean Bottle to make it easier for people everywhere to stop plastic getting into our seas. We believe we can achieve this through a combination of our plastic collection model and careful product design: if we want people to refill their Ocean Bottle every day and keep it forever, it needs to be high quality and a joy to use, so we’ve worked hard to make that happen.”

William Pearson

Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Ocean Bottle

“As a small but rapidly growing consumer goods business, we don’t have the resources to manage our impact initiatives in-house. Our partnership with Plastic Bank allows us to focus on what we’re good at – inventing globe-changing products – while at the same time having a tremendously positive environmental and social impact”

Lachlan Hill

Co-Founder – Head of Product & Impact, Tirtyl

“Together with our online partners and Plastic Bank, we want to set an example against plastic waste and drive sustainability. Thus, in the course of this joint cooperation, we not only create awareness on this major global problem of plastic pollution, but also concretely show how we at Reckitt share part of the responsibility for it.”

Traceable reporting made easy

Plastic Bank’s Impact Hub Enterprise is created with a single objective: to make impact faster, simpler, and more effective.

How Plastic Bank guarantees impact

Plastic Bank ensures traceable and authentic impact through rigorous standards. As of April 2023, we’ve earned the following third-party certifications and ratings:

Global Recycled Standard Certification

Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary, international certification that verifies the content of recycled materials in a product. The certification requires companies to meet strict criteria, such as: tracking and verifying the amount of recycled materials used in their products; and proving that the materials are sourced responsibly and adhere to social and environmental criteria.

Gold Sustainability rating by Ecovadis

Plastic Bank is among the top 5% (95+ percentile) of all companies across all industries rated by EcoVadis that have met rigorous sustainability standards in four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Receiving a gold rating from EcoVadis means Plastic Bank has scored between 73 and 80 overall by integrating sustainability into its strategy and operations, implementing policies to address sustainability risks, and establishing management systems to create and avail sustainable opportunities.
