Plastic Bank’s Partnership with Marchon Eyewear

PLASTIC BANK COLLABORATES WITH MARCHON TO CREATE POSITIVE ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACT

Marchon Eyewear is a global leader in premium eyewear manufacturing & distribution. Marchon executes its sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives through its long-term, global program EYES ON TOMORROW®. This long-term, global program guides the company in responsibly ensuring that its eyewear frames and the production processes will have a lowered impact on the planet. Marchon is also committed to being the best possible partner to our stakeholders, employees, and communities it calls home.

Supporting collection communities in Brazil

The partnership will help gather discarded plastic from the environment and improve the lives of collection community members in vulnerable coastal areas, particularly in Brazil. With this collaboration, the two companies create environmental, social, and economic impacts. By choosing Nautica or Columbia eyewear, customers contribute to Marchon’s annual commitment of recovering over 2.2 million plastic bottles from the environment.

“We are very proud to renew our partnership with Plastic Bank, and these brands are certainly a natural fit. By continuing our successful partnership with Plastic Bank and putting a focus on Nautica and Columbia eyewear, we are solidifying our commitment to social responsibility and sustainable initiatives now and in the future.”
