Building circular recycling ecosystems

Since 2018, SC Johnson and Plastic Bank have helped recover plastic before it reaches oceans and waterways by building community-based recycling ecosystem across Indonesia, the Philippines, Brazil, and Thailand.

To date, the partnership has helped recover 6.1B+ bottles, supported 45,400+ collectors, and strengthened 640+ communities (as of Mar. 8, 2026). Together, recovered plastic is reintegrated into supply chains as Social Plastic®, turning waste into circular packaging and economic opportunity.
