Making moments come true

In the hustle of life, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and disconnected. Yet, amidst the chaos, there's a universal truth that binds us – the essence of our humanity.
Take a pause to reflect on the moments that define us: the joy that catches us off guard, the hope that fuels our spirit, and the resilience that pushes us forward. These moments, whether big or small, make us who we are. They're the threads that weave the tapestry of our collective journey.
As we bid farewell to 2023, we’d like to thank you for being part of the Social Recycling movement. In a world that often feels divided, you’ve helped create connections, spark joy, and inspire change. These are #MomentsOfUs that made a profound difference. and Let’s look back at some of them!
Everything we’ve achieved together is a testament to the power of our shared humanity. Let’s continue shaping a world where every moment is an opportunity to connect and live purposefully.
Wishing you and your family a joyous holiday season!

The University of Makati, a university owned by the Makati City government in Metro Manila, continues its commitment to building a better world by renewing its partnership with us for another year! Together, we're set to collect approximately 3,600 kilograms of discarded plastic for the next 12 months. That's not all – students at the university will be immersed in insightful training sessions, equipping them with knowledge to drive change in their communities.

Our Community Partnership team is actively educating communities and promoting behavioural changes around plastic waste management. We organized several pop-up events at schools and with faith communities partnering with us to raise awareness about plastic segregation and encouraged them to exchange recyclable plastic for essentials like cooking oil.
Furthermore, one of our school partners (SD Muhammadiyah 3 Denpasar) in Bali was also gifted a laptop to support their academic and administrative needs. The school has collected an impressive 4,145 kilograms of plastic since our partnership began in September 2021.
Brazil

On December 14, we will hold the graduation ceremony for the inaugural class of our Computer Course – an initiative we developed with 3M via Global Giving in Brazil. More than 80 candidates, including collection members and their children, attended a comprehensive training in fundamental computing skills. The curriculum included a variety of essentials like Microsoft Office, Gmail, Google Drive, social media, Canva, and CV preparation – empowering them with valuable digital skills.
Egypt

Together with Henkel, we’ve partnered with Axon, a leading medical insurance provider, to extend comprehensive coverage to over 2,000 collection members. To seamlessly integrate our members into this new initiative, we conducted informative sessions, outlining the coverage details and perks. A dedicated hotline has also been established, offering 24/7 assistance to address any queries or concerns our members may have.
