We’re excited to share that this past June, we hit a record breaking collection of 10 million bottles of ocean plastic - that’s equivalent to 2 million kilograms of plastic waste! Thanks to our collectors in Haiti, the Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil and Egypt, we’re stopping ocean plastic and creating lasting impact for our communities and our world.

In July we celebrated Plastic Free July - an annual global challenge that inspires us to refuse single-use plastics, reduce our environmental footprints, and rethink our relationship to plastic waste. Together, we can be part of the solution and not the pollution!

Last month, our Founder and CEO David Katz spoke with Finextra TV about how Plastic Bank works with global brands to empower the world to stop ocean plastic while improving lives of collector communities.
