Typhoons, earthquakes & tsunamis around the world

We are grateful that despite the recent natural disasters in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Haiti, our staff and their families in-country are all safe and our operations are continuing to grow.
Nothing can stop the Social Plastic movement! Our work to bring sustainable economic development to these areas is more important than ever.
Your continued support empowers those affected by these traumatizing events to rebuild their homes and livelihoods. We can't thank you enough.

Expanding our Ecosystem in the Philippines
We recently activated our first Collection Centres in partnership with Naga City! Even more recently, we've partnered with the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission to build upon our Baseco, Manila operations.
Our friends at IBM in Naga City collaborated with Plastic Bank to deliver a workshop on cash management for community leaders. After its great success, we'd like to thank the IBM team for their support!

Now available:
Saltwater Supercars at Shell convenience stores!
Every purchase of a Shell Saltwater Supercar is paired with a ₱2.00 donation to Plastic Bank that will go toward reducing plastic waste in various communities around the Philippines.
Shell has been a proud supporter of Social Plastic for years.

Haiti
In partnership with Expo 2020, our Haiti Education Program helps Haitian families afford tuition for their kids, teaches them about recycling, and rewards plastic collection along the way. Check out our collection vehicle pictured here!

Plastic Neutral Workforces
Following the success of our Plastic Neutral program for individuals, we have created a program for groups!
Each group member gets a personal Plastic Neutral Certificate and organizations can use our badges on their materials to show their participation. If you see the pictured badge on a company's website or product, be sure to show your love!
Going Plastic Neutral creates immediate impact in our Collector communities and helps to spark conversations around plastic reduction in the workplace.

ICYMI: In September we launched over a dozen new designs for T-shirts, hoodies, and shopping bags at our solar-powered store at TeeMill. Each shirt sold stops 1,000 bottles of ocean-bound plastic and provides income to those in need.
