Chief Marketing Officer
Saleem knew he wanted to be a marketer from a very young age when he asked his mother who wrote the description on the back of an Ivory soap label. He cut his teeth in brand management at Procter & Gamble where he spent 13 years in locations across Western Europe. During this time, he had responsibility for marketing and commercial operations on country, regional, and global levels for numerous billion-dollar brand franchises including Pantene, Head&Shoulders, Olay, Pringles, OralB, and Vicks. Saleem subsequently joined Johnson & Johnson, rising through the ranks over 10 years to become the Chief Marketing Officer of their global Diabetes Care Franchise. Saleem has a BA in Communications from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and a MBA from ESSEC (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) in Paris, France. His passion and commitment to innovative brand building has been recognized in Canada, the US, the UK, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Belgium, as well as through numerous internal awards at both P&G and J&J. Born in Kenya of Indian origin, Saleem was raised in Canada. He is married with two sons and a daughter. He is a foodie, loves to travel, and is an avid fan of music trivia.
