We are searching for an accomplished Social Media and Marketing Manager based primarily in Manila, Philippines. This individual will have a strong background in marketing, communications, design and social media management. Candidate must be intellectually and interpersonally agile, a self-starter and independent, with a flexible communication style that is able to appeal to a wide range of stakeholders. The officer will be an entrepreneur at heart, who embraces the pace of change of start-ups and believes in the power of social enterprise impact. He or she will make a significant contribution to the marketing of the Social Plastic ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

    • The Social Media and Marketing Manager will report to the Philippines Country Manager for overall management of Plastic Bank Philippines’ marketing initiatives, design and communication requirements and social media presence.
      • Work closely with community development team and client partnership team to create communication materials that will spread awareness on Plastic Bank’s mission.
        • Provide marketing support for impact member programs and cause related events.


    • Experience (above 5 years) in social media management, marketing and design;
      • Very creative and possesses skills in graphic design, writing and PR;
        • Demonstrative success in leading and/or supporting and collaborating with stakeholders and teams;
          • Passionate about social causes, and ideally on reducing ocean pollution, alleviating poverty and growing Plastic Bank's mission into a phenomenal global movement;
            • Ability to work creatively, entrepreneurially, resourcefully, and remain open to rapid changes.
