Ocean-bound plastic has not yet found its way into the ocean. This represents plastic that is found on the ground within 50 kilometers of a waterway or coastal area, and is otherwise unlikely to be collected.

Sales Operations Analyst (Canada)

The Sales Operations Analyst will work within the Sales Operations team to provide business partnership and sales analytical support to the global sales & supply chain operations teams. Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations the role will primarily align to supporting sales, but from time to time the scope will include support of & interaction with key global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally and globally across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and other key stakeholders as needed
  • Drive the monthly cadence of demand data collection, review, and reporting to support the Sales & Operations Process (S&OP) globally both from an operational and analytical perspective and ensure pipeline accuracy across different systems (Including Salesforce)
  • Drive a weekly cadence of reporting around our Sales numbers, forecast, and KPIs
  • Analyze customer schedules/forecasts for mix/volume fluctuations and identify volume, capacity, or lead time discrepancies and opportunities against forecasts
  • Reporting and analysis of key business metrics such as Fcast / Perf / Pipeline velocity analysis / Territory at the regional, country & rep level
  • Data management and reporting to help measure and identify trends concerning renewal rates, multi-year, product splits, and other trends unique to Plastic Bank.
  • Dashboard & report design, extraction, publication
  • Support the evolution and improvement of analytics over time.
  • Be an expert across the (manual for now) data connection points between supply chain, finance, and CRM systems to ensure continuity, control, and standardization of data syncs across systems and protect the integrity of data management processes in our CRM
  • Partake in communication and implementation of new processes, policies and procedures around our data to internal stakeholders


  • Experience in a business analysis capacity in a sales and supply chain environment critical
  • Advanced Google Suite, Excel, and using complex formulas across multiple data sources
  • Experience of working with CRM platforms an advantage
  • Analytical tools language (e.g. SQL, Hyperion, Tableau) an advantage
  • Proven ability to analyze as opposed to just report creation
  • Previous experience of working within a supply chain company an advantage
  • Experience of working within a global, matrix organization, like Plastic Bank would be advantageous
  • Highly numerate, good written and spoken English
  • Experience of delivering timely and accurate data to help drive sales activity and performance and to help achieve results. Ability to analyze, work through and solve problems

Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Data Analyst, Supply Chain, or sales support
  • Ability to explain complex data to non-technical colleagues
  • Self starter with strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and data presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, including writing and presentation
  • Comfortable in a fluid ever-changing environment
  • Location: Canada, Vancouver preferred (remote)
